A collection that imagines humans and nature not as separate, but as companions, entwined, intertwined, coexisting. Each piece is slow-made, sculptural, and handwoven bead by bead, carrying both fragility and resilience, jewellery that blurs into art, objects that become living ecosystems on the body.

This showcase marks a step forward in RATA’s journey, from a homegrown studio in India to an international stage where craft, narrative, and design converge. The collection is both poetic and political, a reminder that true luxury lies in care, in pace, in coexistence.

    Studio Rata, founded in 2023 by Pratiksha Tandon, is a luxury lifestyle brand that celebrates handcrafted artistry with a whimsical touch.     Rata (meaning "pleased," "delighted," or "fondly attached" in Sanskrit) embodies our core values. Our specialization lies in crafting unique wearable art pieces using a variety of techniques like hand weaving, crocheting, wire artistry, and 3D embroidery. We intricately interweave beads, threads, and wires to bring forth visually stunning patterns. Our constant exploration of new techniques and fusion of different crafts allows us to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are truly special.

    I have a small team of beaders including myself whom I have taught over time, the initial period of setting up my space involved teaching the artisans the whole day without any production or sampling for 4-5 months. Now I take pride that my artisans are independent enough that they can experiment with the material without my presence, there is so much for all of us to learn as a team, which is what keeps our thrust for learning more alive.
