Echoing the radiant, sun-like clusters of deep-water zoanthid corals, A Thousand Little Suns Lamp transforms a thriving marine colony into a glowing tabletop centerpiece. The piece forms a vibrant 10-inch spherical orb composed of dozens of conical beaded “zoas” in concentric rings of electric yellow, crimson, and cobalt blue, detailed with micro-beaded sponges and playful reef fish nestled across its surface. Artisans construct the shade by hand-knitting a spherical mild steel frame with 26-gauge copper wire and wire-crocheting glass seed and bugle beads. The structure rests securely on a heavy, termite- and moisture-resistant Keekar wood block base equipped with an E-27 holder, a low-energy 9W LED filament bulb, and a matte black electrical cord.

This piece is part of the “Blooming Beyond The Bay” collection, which moves away from traditional terrestrial flowers to celebrate the glowing, vibrant ecosystems thriving in the deep ocean.
