In the hush between breath and bloom, RATA presents its London Fashion Week debut
A collection that imagines humans and nature not as separate, but as companions, entwined, intertwined, coexisting. Each piece is slow-made, sculptural, and handwoven bead by bead, carrying both fragility and resilience, jewellery that blurs into art, objects that become living ecosystems on the body.
This showcase marks a step forward in RATA’s journey, from a homegrown studio in India to an international stage where craft, narrative, and design converge. The collection is both poetic and political, a reminder that true luxury lies in care, in pace, in coexistence.

Some jewellery carries stories
older than us.
They glow with memories that never fade.
Some begin as tiny creations of love
made by little hands.
The heart remembers every bead.
Some jewels hold promises whispered gently between two souls.
And some become symbols of comfort
and connection held close
in everyday moments.
Two wanderers chasing the soft light of the afternoon without knowing
where their play would lead.
The flower called to them and
the door opened like it knew.
Magic invited them inside.
A new story was ready to begin.
Something shimmered among the leaves.
Not sunlight. Not a firefly.
A living glow waiting to be found.
This secret grove hums with quiet magic tended by hands that understand the language of beads.
“Welcome to the Garden of Keeping where every jewel is cared for as if it were alive.”
“We dust them gently so their sparkle never sleeps.”
Safe homes keep colours bright. Treasure your jewels in a dry, quiet place.
Water can change colours and dim magic. Keep your jewels dry and far from splashes.
“Even a drop can alter their tale.”
But sparks are wanderers
And wanderers do not
choose where they land.
Night settled softly, and they rested
by the warmth of the flame.
The delicate nylon curled
instantly at the touch of heat.
Even strong weaves fear flame.
Keep your jewels away from heat and fire.
“If your heart desires change, bring your piece to us. Old shapes can bloom
into something new.”
Do not worry. Things break.
They can be made whole again.
“For three moons, we repair every thread with love. Every weave can be
reborn through care.”
Magic lives longest when cared for gently...

Our constant exploration of new techniques and fusion of different crafts allows us to create one-of-a-kind pieces that are truly special.

Founder, RATA studio
I have a small team of beaders including myself whom I have taught over time, the initial period of setting up my space involved teaching the artisans the whole day without any production or sampling for 4-5 months. Now I take pride that my artisans are independent enough that they can experiment with the material without my presence, there is so much for all of us to learn as a team, which is what keeps our thrust for learning more alive.
